Orientation/Open House
- All You Need to Know Sample Packet – This straight-to-the-point packet tells parents EVERYTHING they need to know about the upcoming year including snack/lunch times, classroom rules and consequences, snack information, what students will be learning in all subject areas, etc. A definite MUST for all teachers!
- Open House Sign-in – Get a jump on first day transportation and parent communication by asking parents who sign in to provide their email address and how their child will get home each day. This form is a big helper!
- Back to School (PowerPoint) – Providing parents with an overview of academic and behavioral expectations makes a BIG difference! It helps stimulate conversation between teacher and parent, and a yearly overview helps lessen parents’ nervousness over a new teacher and a new grade level. I use this PowerPoint presentation to introduce myself and my expectations.
